Top three blogs:
Numcrunophobia: An Extreme Fear of Accountants, is a monolog of John’s learning experience. What an interesting character he is. I have chosen his blog as the best in the unit. His blog is well laid out, with charming images. John has exceptionally written posts that are insightful, humorous and engaging. He uses analogies and personal stories to connect to the course work. I appreciate his insights into the accounting world, as he has had years of experience in the professional industry itself.
Cheers John.
My second position goes to Jennifer Martin’s Between the Spreadsheets. You can see that Jennifer has invested a great deal of time into her blog. Jennifer has effectively used characters from movies and television series to engage with fellow students. I enjoy her personal touch, with particular mention to her post ‘Those 4 little words…’ that is heartfelt and inspiring. Her posts are consistently posted on time and demonstrate a great deal of understanding in the course content.
Thank you Jennifer, good luck finally completing your accounting degree!
Danielle Bradley has my underdog vote for her blog, ‘Be audit you can be…’ Danielle connects with relevant events and personal insight to produce an effective blog. She is self confessed, “addicted to blogging” with countless posts including engaging headlines and images.
I have enjoyed reading your blog, thanks Dani.
Hi Emma, thank you so much for recognising Numcrunophobia in your top 3. I am honoured especially as you have placed me on the podium beside two genuinely great bloggers. I appreciate your positive comments and help in raising awareness of Numcrunophobia; a debilitating affliction affecting the lives of at least 3 people (Sebby, Theo and myself). Congratulations Jen and Dani.
